When you look back at the smash hit novels by Stephen king, such as the The Green Mile and The Shawshank Redemption that embrace the whole spectrum of human emotions, there’s no doubt why these novels were made into great films.
Now , if you’re looking for some additional suspense and you enjoyed the above novels , I can highly recommend you read The Mist . A horror story that involves a closer examination of human nature and how people react and handle a similar situation differently. Many readers would probably tell you this novel could just as well have the same effect on you as the two previously mentioned . You won’t be disappointed with this creation either.
Stephen King’s more recent work, Lisey's Story, once again puts him back on top as a horror writer with this new hit book. A story of Lisey Landon, the widow of best-selling horror author Scott Landon, finally gets around to cleaning out her late husband’s possessions. She encounters a barrage of memories of the life with, and love for her late husband. Lisey, who has a sister, at the same time, is going through a mental breakdown while she herself is threatened by a crazed madman who wants all of her late husband’s memorabilia.
Lisey's Story, is just another terrific book by Stephen King that you will not want to miss.
